AFSS North Quarterly Training

Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)

 

Instructors: Sacramento Fire Department's EVOC Staff

 

Join us for hands-on driver's training at the Sacramento Regional Driver Training Facility, located at Mather Field. We will be driving the skid pan, accident avoidance, and emergency braking courses, and watching a cornering demonstration.

​

The facility instructors have over 150 years of combined experience in Emergency Vehicle Operation Instruction and are certified by POST and the California State Fire Marshal.

​

Requirements to Participate:

1. Bring completed Release of Liability form.

2. Bring a valid CA Driver's License.

3. Wear comfortable pants - no skirts or dresses.

4. Wear closed-toed shoes - open-toed and open-heeled shoes will not be permitted.

​

Sunscreen & water is recommended.
